The model for Eli was Angelle Hoda,
recording secretary, Iris Lacoste. She

He is fascinated by "the face," where all our attention automatically goes.

Eli adds a few finishing touches. Clean
your colors with "brown rice flour,"
advised Eli, easily purchased at the
grocery store.
As an added bonus, some of Eli Sproles'
pastel portraits were on display during
the meeting for members to study.
Eli calls himself a "figurative colorist," for lack of a better term. He is originally from Tennessee, but says he is from New Orleans by preference.
